In the early stage, GW conducted extensive and in-depth research through multiple channels and forms such as online information and peer introductions, compared domestic and imported brands, and comprehensively considered brand reputation, reliability, after-sales service and other dimensions, and finally chose NFLG transformation and upgrading plans and equipment.

 

 

After on-site inspections, measurements and careful demonstrations with GW, NFLG proposed solutions one by one to address the defects of the original asphalt mixing equipment, such as high energy consumption, excessive temperature loss during the transportation of finished materials and paving and compaction, which affects construction quality and finally developed a complete transformation and upgrading plan.

Promote transformation and improve quality and efficiency

In view of the bottlenecks and shortcomings of GW’s existing asphalt mixing equipment, NFLG focused on in-depth transformation and upgrade of burners, drying cylinders, mixing cylinders, mixing cylinder injection pipes, additive metering scales, bag dust collectors etc., to make production more efficient, more energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and promote the green transformation of GW.

 

 

After the overall upgrade, the effect is remarkable, especially the substantial increase in production capacity. Before the upgrade, the asphalt plant production capacity was only 150 tons/hour. After the upgrade, the discharging time of each pot was reduced, and the production capacity reached 220-230 tons/hour. Xue Donghai, director of the mixing plant, happily said that not only the production capacity has increased, but the equipment failure rate has also been reduced.

 

 

NFLG has been specialized in developing burners for asphalt mixing plants for 20 years. The burners completely match the internal structure of the drying drum and can be incorporated into the interconnection control of the mixing plant system. The upgraded burner has its own flow control system. During the production process, the consumption of heavy oil and natural gas can be monitored in real time to ensure the air/oil and air/gas ratios and improve combustion efficiency. Cai Yabing, manager of the GW Quality Department, said that comparing the data before the transformation with that after the transformation, the consumption of heavy oil and natural gas has indeed decreased. The burner has its own oil return system, which eliminates the exhaust link, saves time, reduces odor emissions, and improves environmental protection.

 

 

Equally outstanding is the temperature control of the aggregate: the equipment produces lower heat losses and lower energy consumption, ensuring the best results when paving finished products. It is understood that before the transformation and upgrading of GW, the aggregate temperature needs to be heated to 200-205°C before the discharge temperature reach 180°C. After the transformation, the aggregate is heated to 190-195°C and the discharge temperature can also reach 180°C. The mixing quality is good, and the finished materials are still kept at a relatively high temperature after arriving at the construction site, ensuring construction quality.
