NFLG Concrete Batching Plant for Nuclear Power Used in CGN


For a long time, imported equipment has been used for nuclear island concrete batching plants for nuclear power in China. 2017, after a rigorous selection process, NFLG was finally selected as the nuclear island concrete batching plant manufacturer for CGN Huidong Nuclear Power Plant. After strict tests, the first concrete was successfully poured in June 2019 and October 2020 for Units 1 and 2 of CGN Guangdong Taipingling Nuclear Power Phase I Project, respectively, as a national product brand participating in the nuclear island pouring project. NFLG concrete batching plant for nuclear power was recognized and praised by CGN for its reliable and stable equipment operation, good performance, product quality and supply stability.

The Guangdong Taipingling Nuclear Power Project is located in Huidong County, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, and is undertaken by CSCEC and China Construction Second Engineering Bureau LTD. for the civil works of the nuclear islands of Units 1 and 2 of Phase I. As an important support for the construction of the nuclear power plant, the Taipingling Concrete Batching Plant is responsible for the production and supply of all concrete in the nuclear power plant. To ensure the quality of the aggregate and concrete, CCSEB adopted an integrated arrangement of the concrete batching plant and the on-site sand and gravel quarry to provide a stable supply of manufactured sand and gravel aggregate for the batching plant.


At the CGN Huidong Nuclear Island Concrete Batching Plant, you can see that the whole site is as clean as new, dust-free and noise-free. At the back side of the plant, the fully automatic aggregate feeding system is used to ensure that the aggregate batching system is always available, which greatly reduces noise and dust pollution and saves the operating costs of backyard feeding.



As the core of mixing, NFLG's compulsion type concrete mixer has a strong mixing effect on concrete, with no dead spots or dead zones. The mixer adopts an imported reducer to ensure stable and reliable operation for a long time. In addition, it has a professional and scientific shaft seal design, with a stable and reliable structure, no grout leakage, no cleaning and no shaft clamping of the mixing spindle.

In addition to strength, impermeability and corrosion resistance, concrete design requirements for nuclear power plants have strict standards and requirements for the durability and mix ratio of concrete in terms of crack development control. In response to the high standards and strict requirements of nuclear power construction, the NFLG nuclear power concrete batching plant integrates a number of high and new technologies in China, including: fully automatic aggregate feeding system, aggregate moisture content detection, real-time material level system in silo, temperature detection of each raw material, concrete temperature forecast and control, high precision metering system, efficient and stable mixer, high performance dust removal system and high performance supporting system, which effectively supports the stable operation of the plant.



Taking the dust removal system as an example, NFLG has equipped it with a high performance dust removal system. The main mixing building and silo are equipped with NFLG's self-developed active pulse bag filter, which can quickly balance the air pressure inside the silo and mixer by active dust removal, with obvious effect of ash cleaning, realising environmentally friendly production.
