Asphalt mixing plant, also can be called asphalt concrete mixing plant, asphalt concrete mixing plant. It refers to the complete set of equipment used for mass production of asphalt concrete. According to the mixing method, it can be divided into forced intermittent type and continuous production type; according to the handling method, it can be divided into fixed type, semi-fixed type and mobile type.

 

1. The main uses of asphalt mixing plant

 

Asphalt mixing plant, also known as asphalt concrete mixing plant, is a complete set of equipment used for mass production of asphalt mix, which can produce asphalt mix, modified asphalt mix, color asphalt mix, and is the necessary equipment for building highways, grade highways, municipal roads, airports and ports.

 

 

2. Components of asphalt mixing plant

3. Classification of asphalt mixing plant

 

1. According to the production capacity can be divided into: small, medium and large

Small: i.e. productivity below 40t/h.

Medium: i.e. productivity from 40 to 400t/h.

Large: i.e. productivity above 400t/h.

 

4. According to the handling mode (migration mode) can be divided into: mobile, semi-fixed and fixed

 

Mobile, that is, the silo and mixing pot with its own tires, can be transferred with the construction site, applicable to county and township roads and low-grade highway projects.

Semi-fixed, i.e. the equipment is installed on several trailers and assembled at the construction site, mostly used for highway construction.

Fixed, that is, the equipment operating location is fixed, also known as asphalt concrete processing plant, suitable for engineering concentration, urban road construction.

 

5. According to the process (mixing method) can be divided into: continuous drum type and intermittent forced type.

 

Continuous drum type, that is, the use of continuous uninterrupted mixing mode of production, aggregate heating and drying and mixing of the mixture in the same drum continuous.

Forced intermittent type, i.e. the heating and drying of aggregates and the mixing of mixes are forced to be carried out periodically. The equipment mixes separately in one pot, each pot is 45 to 60 seconds, and the output depends on the equipment model.
